Being a club of sorts, we felt that we ought to appoint the positions of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Dive Officer. These are held by the following members who all democratically voted themselves into these posts for life after a few pints of foaming ale and a game of cribbage to see who got what.

Stephen Bottomley - Chairman. SAA Dive Supervisor, PADI Dive Master, nitrox qualified
Jonathan Page - Secretary & DO. SAA Dive Master & Club Instructor. nitrox qualified
Jonathan Young - Treasurer. SAA Dive Leader, nitrox qualified

Other founder members (who didn't loose at cribbage and so do sod-all in an official capacity) are
Jenny Lidster SAA Dive Supervisor and Club Instructor, nitrox qualified. Now back in the water to keep us all in order after an extended surface interval while having a baby
Nick Lidster SAA Dive Supervisor and Club Instructor. nitrox qualified. Now a dad so needs to get out of the house as much as possible
Dave Vining SAA Club Diver, nitrox qualified but never seen these days as he's building a house.
Brian 'Chippy' Chaplin, SAA Dive Supervisor and Club Instructor, hopefully about to start diving again after a long lay off.

We are all qualified RYA boat handlers and between us have many 1000's of dives logged in a variety of conditions throughout the world, ("some more than others" he said with total envy). So as you can see, we all come reasonably well qualified to run and organise club diving.
