A diver in the shallows off Beer beach. Do be aware of boat traffic all along Beer beach and in the bay and under the shelter of Beer Head, particuarly little tourist hire/drive fishing boats who think your bubbles are a shoal of fish and drop fishing lines on you as I have found out the hard way! Otherwise an excellent little shore dive often with lots of marine life to look at
A reef off Golden Cap between Lyme Regis & Westbay in Dorset.
A very good novice or 2nd dive as it is only 10 - 12m and often full of life.

The reef off Seatown, Dorset. A simple shore dive for novice training, and also a good long shallow marine life filled fun dive.
Gullies at Finger 'n Thumb, Seaton
Lots of life in the gullies but gets a bit keply above them in the summer. Makes a very pleasant 2nd dive but can suffer from wave induced swell as it is only between 7 & 11 m and fairly close in shore.
