A diver studies a conger sheltering under the pig-iron ballast concretion and fire bricks that mark the remains of the Heroine. I don't know if he is still there but there used to be a huge Lobster that shared this lair safe in the knowledge that only an idiot would put his arm in to try to get him with this chap on guard.
Sea fan on the Baygitanno or Baggi as it is usally known.
A good novice or second dive in 18 - 22m and only a mile and a bit due south of Lyme Regis harbour but very congested on sunny Sundays!! We have seen 14 dive boats at one time on the site, but then I guess it helps to find her if you are not so good with a GPS and sounder like some we know.
White Ramsay firebricks on the 'Brick Wreck' or Heroine
Lost in a storm in 1851 on its way to Australia, not much is left other than its ballast of pig-iron and white firebricks for the gold smelting kilns, however lots of goodies have been recovered and are in Lyme Regis museum to view at your leisure.
Depth about 27m and hard to find on a sounder unless very calm
A section of the Heroine while under excavation in the 1990's. An airlift was used to clear away sand and silt and expose the massive keel, copper hull cladding and keel pins. I actually found a full bottle of beer still corked, matches in cylindrical wooden match boxes, and numerous other bits and bobs, and I believe some can still be found by patiently digging in the sand around her in a gentle current to clear away the silt.

Dead mans Fingers on the bucket dredger St Dunstan
A stunning wreck with plenty of holes to get into. Loads of fish and other marine life, and usually very good viz.

Depth around the 30m mark to the sea bed and quite currenty so take care with your planning on springs tides

More Dead mans Fingers on the Gibel Hamman.
Not really for novices as it is 30m plus and often quite dark and silty with strong currents if you get it wrong. Otherwise fairly intact and a good dive in the right conditions.
A bit of the Abbotsbury bomber encrusted in pink squidgey things.
