The Honiton Lace Shop is happy to give free verbal valuations on your lace, importantly however, we will undertake written insurance valuations on specific items and collections of antique lace and lace making equipment.

All items will be accurately described, dated and dimensions will be recorded, and a realistic replacement valuation put on the piece at the prevailing market price. Obviously not all antiques are replaceable and so the valuation will be for the item in question were it to come on the market itself. It does not imply that that item will be possible to replace.

There is a charge for this service made up as follows

In addition we can also record on CD, quality colour photographic images of items within the valuation, both overall and in close up. These will be of great help in the event of items being damaged, lost or stolen for insurance purposes. The cost of this CD image service is £12.50 per item
